(Grafton, MA) – A local raccoon reports that she’ll be able to finish chewing through a trash bin behind a split-level ranch-style house in Grafton tonight. “I’ll definitely get in there with just a little more work”, she said. “All I need is a little more time and patience and my blade-like incisors. Plus what else do I have to do? I’m a raccoon.”

The raccoon’s most recent victory was eating all the seeds out of a bird feeder across the street.

At press time, the homeowners were discussing putting a heavy block of wood on top of their trash bins, but that will merely result in waking their toddler at 2 am when the raccoon knocks the wood down to the ground.
