Even Meghan McCain Loves Aidy Bryant’s Meghan McCain Impression
If you’re a public figure, the highest honor is a Saturday Night Live impersonation. And daytime talk juggernaut The View is ripe for both parody and hilarious impressions of its biggest personalities, including Joy Behar and Meghan McCain. Kate McKinnon replaced former repertory player Fred Armisen, who left the show in 2013, as Behar’s doppelgänger. Aidy Bryant channeled McCain’s righteousness as “the Princess of Arizona” and got big laughs doing so. Emma Stone, hosting for the fourth time, portrayed anti-vaccination crusader and The Masked Singer panelist Jenny McCarthy.
People couldn’t get enough of Aidy as Meghan.
Nailed Meghan perfectly.

This was beyond perfect. You captured @MeghanMcCain temper tantrum and her sense of entitlement.

McCain herself approved.
I’m not supposed to be on twitter because of hiatus BUT this sketch is hilarious, and being parodied by @SNL is a huge pop cultural honor. – Signed, your old intern and “the princess of Arizona” 😜🌵 https://t.co/HUtON4Xi3V

Behar was happy to “finally” see a woman playing her.
Finally an actual female is playing me. Thank you Kate. https://t.co/rIOtQcQwqI

Ana Navarro also weighed in, embracing Melissa Villaseñor as a “bad-ass Latina comedian.”
Took too long, but am so glad to FINALLY see a bad-ass Latina comedian on @nbcsnl, I don’t even mind @melissavcomedy spoofing my daily tirades. All in good fun. Laughter’s good for the soul. Yes! What Trump (I prefer #PresidentLoco), is doing at border, is shameful. It is nasty! https://t.co/3rw5UXBQwG
